WHAT SLEEP?

There is no such thing as ‘sleeping with Johnny’

Speaking from my sleep depraved experiences of room sharing with Johnny Crescendo on plenty of National DAN Actions here in England.

This is what really happens.

Just when you (I) are ready to drop from exhaustion and get some sleep. That is also when Johnny goes into wide-awake mode going through a million and one ‘what ifs’ prior to the next day’s action.

He certainly picks his moments and sleep you will not get.

But the other bit is – just as soon as he decides time to sleep he goes out like a light and spends the remaining hour snoring like a bull which still manages to keep you awake.

Then comes the waking up bit. Not easy as learned by the paramedics who had to burst into his room for a medical emergency of his then room partner Richard Bullard. Big Richard survived that one and lived to tell the tale but only just we hear.

Then comes getting up on time with the usual looking for cigarettes, television blaring, phones not fully charged and arguments over who’s turn it is to make coffee (usually the one who was most pissed and remembers least from the late night before looses that battle)

Pure sleep deprivation you better get used to if you planning a room share with him.

Oh yeah and the occasional outburst of a new song of his on guitar could be involved. Like his music or not believe me you wont like it first thing in the morning

God help Cassie comes to mind
